SPCP Live 3 Part 1: Farts In The Wind
Saturday May 12, 2018
Saturday May 12, 2018
Here we go, folks; it's time to get your Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour: Live on! Barry and I were apparently ill-prepared for a full half hour of introducing the show and our chosen charity, The British Heart Foundation, so we attempt to pad out with talk on such thrilling topics as microphones, bunting and waffles! Then it's time for some proper excellent content; it's Stace & Barry In The Morning! We are very good at avoiding Infinity War spoilers, create a new character that will undoubtedly take the internet by storm, and I pick a song that drops all the swear bombs at too-early-in-the-AM! Oops...
After that, absolutely amazing animator extraordinaire Dani Abram joins us to talk about the naughtiest thing she's ever done, how best to fake an illness, and organising the incredibly popular Cardiff Animation Festival!
Episode Theme - 'Scarface (Push It To The Limit)' by Paul Engemann
End Theme - 'The Glow' by Willie Hutch

Disclaimer: The SPCP Live 3 episodes will be mostly unedited. This means they will be put out as close to their live versions as possible, including (but not limited to); audio delays, bodily function noises (aka the World's Loudest Sneezes), slightly-too-long sections in which we try to deal with the mountain of technical problems on the day... I believe they are still very enjoyable though, and I hope you have as much fun listening in as Barry & I did when broadcasting!

This episode, I'm joined by one half of Turtle Power Pod, Cranny, as we talk about horror movies, cats, the absolute bamboozlement that was this years' WrestleMania, Isle of Dogs, Better Call Saul and loads more besides!
All this, plus I ruin two celebs for Cranny. Who will it be, and why are they ruined? Listen in to find out!

Jolly good morning to you delightful folks; it's Stace & Barry In The Morning time! We've accidentally done a special episode, as we have our first joint Pick of the Fortnight and can't seem to stop talking about it! As such, we've done a spoiler-free review first, then a spoiler-full review at the end. Also, there are coffee ninjas... Enjoy!

MOOOOOOORRRRRRNING! Welcome to Episode 18 of Stace & Barry! This time around, we're taking a turn for the extra-terrestrial as I chat about a fun alien space romp cartoon, and Barry gets epic with his Musical Musings... Get yer cuppa sorted and enjoy!

Episode 84: You're A Terrible Podcast!
Tuesday Mar 27, 2018
Tuesday Mar 27, 2018
Join my rather jolly spiffing husband Rich and I as we fumble through a very tired and slightly unplanned episode of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour! Rich is back on his 365-movies-this-year-that-I've-never-seen-before mission and so I grill him on some of his likes and dislikes of the year so far. I also apparently entirely miss the point of S3 of Love, we're excited for Wrestlemania, and I get cross about foodstuffs... Enjoy!
Episode Theme - 'Medicine for Melancholy' by Rivers Cuomo
End Theme - 'Journal of Ardency' by Class Actress

Stace & Barry In The Morning - Episode 17
Saturday Mar 17, 2018
Saturday Mar 17, 2018
Welcome to the 17th episode of Stace & Barry In The Morning! If this was the kind of podcast that had proper titles, this one would be called something like "Non-Stop Chicken" or "Constant Chicken Times" because we've got KFC cravings something fierce... On top of that, I really should've told Barry that Annihilation is nothing like Ghostbusters, but I was tired so I didn't... Enjoy!
(I don't know what's going on with the audio this episode, but I am very sorry about it).

Episode 83: #IWD2018 Women of Wakanda Special
Thursday Mar 08, 2018
Thursday Mar 08, 2018
Good day all! To celebrate International Women's Day 2018, I decided to do a wee solo special about my thoughts on the portrayal of women in the MCU's latest installment, Black Panther! I wrote the following in my notebook and forgot to say it in the episode itself, but it's worth popping here: "The women of Wakanda never feel as though they are above or below the men of the movie; they fight and stand alongside, and it's amazing".
Episode Theme - "All The Stars" by Kendrick Lamar, SZA & The Weekend (from the Black Panther album)
End Theme - "Django Jane" by Janelle Monae

Episode 82: Backseat Cake-Icing Instructions
Tuesday Feb 27, 2018
Tuesday Feb 27, 2018
Well hello there! Grab a brew and a cake and pop this here pop culture nugget in your ears! Lee Grice is back (in a bid to talk about more than one thing this time), and we possibly talk a bit too much! Would you believe me if I said this episode contains just 4 reviews; Porcelain Volume 3, Your Name, Inside No 9 and Black Mirror?!
Stay tuned until the very end for an idiotic outtake of horrendously giggly proportions.
Episode Theme - 'Ticket For The Wind' by John Stewart
End Theme - 'Make Me Feel' by Janelle Monae
