This episode sees the triumphant return of Bevis Musson; artist extraordinaire and the very first co-host on this very podcast. Stacey, Jenni and Bevis discuss all things Disney, Lego sets, Prince, more Disney, Muppets, He-Man and She-Ra, yet more Disney and much more! There's also a fair bit of dribbling over hunky men...
Following Bevis it's dinnertime with Dion & Clover! Both of these lovelies have co-hosted on the Parlour before, and together with Stacey and Jenni they discuss geeky parenting, scary movies, Clone Wars, remakes, chicken strippers and more!
Enjoy (and apologies for the food chomping sounds)!

SPCP Live Part 6: Ash Paulsen and Brenda Kirk
Sunday Aug 10, 2014
Sunday Aug 10, 2014
Hi there guys and gals! This part of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour Live features video game king Ash Paulsen, and Geektress' lovely lady-nerd Brenda Kirk.
Ash and the girls talk about a TON of video games, including why Stacey sucks at games, Mario Kart 8, Mega Man, Dance Dance Revolution and why you shouldn't try dancing like that in a club, and much more! Also, Stacey manages to bring it all back to TMNT (again) whilst Jenni brings it all back to dogs (again), plus a little talk of arachnophobia to spice things up :P
Brenda then arrives and for some reason we spend quite a lot of time talking about food, takeaways, dessert pizzas and nerdy cookery... On top of this, there's discussion on robots, tattoos, Star Wars, TV cancellation outrages, Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit and loads more besides. It's an episode jam-packed with goodness, so enjoy!
You can still donate to Operation Smile; so far we have 7 fully funded facial surgeries; can you guys bump me up to 8?... www.justgiving.com/SPCPLive

Hot contender for Stacey's Nicest Dude In Comics Award, join the gang for laughs a-plenty in this installment of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour Live!

SPCP Live Part 3: Lee Grice & Luke Foster
Tuesday Jul 29, 2014
Tuesday Jul 29, 2014
Cor, yet more lovely 24hr podcast fun times fwipping your way!
In this episode Jenni and Stacey chat to Lee Grice, co-host of the rather jolly spiffing Small Press Big Mouth podcast (currently on hiatus but worth checking out old episodes anyway). They talk about such geeky topics as how to look sexy with glasses, which foods are best for eating quietly when podcasting live and errant chin and forehead hairs... (You try thinking of things to talk about for 24 whole hours!) Never fear though, some pop culture is discussed in the form of talking about Batgirls' new look and superhero costumes in general, what the group may have thought of the leaked Flash pilot if they'd seen it, Edge of Tomorrow and much, much more!
Following Lee into The Parlour is cartoonist and all-round tip-top bloke, Luke Foster! Luke chats about his latest comic adventure, Drawn Away (a doodled chronicling of his several month trip across America...the jammy git!), as well as his thoughts on the upcoming TMNT movie, Community and Veronica Mars. Also mentioned are Jenni's rippling muscles, the shocking revelation that Stace doesn't like Dolly Parton or Elvis, and Instacon. All this, plus some cyber-bullying from Luke (the meanie!)
Enjoy, and remember, you can still donate to the Operation Smile donation page, should you like what you hear! www.justgiving.com/SPCPLive

Wednesday Jul 23, 2014
Wednesday Jul 23, 2014
Welcome one and all to another slice of the ginormous podcast pie that was Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour: Live!
This episode sees us through 1pm-2pm, featuring the absolute darling that is Paul Cornell. As well as talking about Paul's work on Wolverine (why must it come to an end?!) and his progress with the third in his 3-novel series, we also cover such topics as Agents of SHIELD and why Stacey should watch it, how writing is like knitting, how many toys your kid isn't allowed to play with is too many toys your kid isn't allowed to play with, fear of clowns and much more besides!
So nab a cupcake and an iced tea (it's too hot for a proper brew!) and enjoy this second installment of the live Parlour show!

SPCP Live Part 1: Moose Kid Madness!
Wednesday Jul 16, 2014
Wednesday Jul 16, 2014
Welcome to the very start of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour Episode 30; the 24hr Live Charity Episode!
I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the guests for the slightly glitchy sound quality on this; it seems the recorder didn't like being used at the same time as the live broadcast Mixlr feed, and so it's a little skippy in parts. I will try to download the whole 24hr file from Mixlr in order to try to get the best quality stuff for the rest of the guests, however as you can imagine that file is HUGE so it may take me a while! In the meantime, I hope you can stand the glitchiness to check out what the following fine fellows had to say!
This installment takes you from 9:30am-11:30am, and features the delightful Andrew Waugh, Tom Plant and Dan Gaynor, all of whom have strips featured in the wonderful new digital comic, Moose Kid Comics!
Andrew is a Scottish (but not that Scottish) illustrator, cartoonist and teacher of art. He's had his stuff in a TON of places, including Hive, Ink+Paper and more, yet for some reason we talk to him about the size of a dog's nuts... Tom doesn't fair much better, recalling a poo-on-the-train story rather than talking to us about his work in The Beano and The Dandy, for Pete's sake! Dan (with special guest, his lovely Mrs, Fiona) brings the tone back up a notch or two with talk of pancakes, TMNT and his lovely comic Crunchwood.
I hope you all enjoy this first part of the epic podcasting weekender that was SPCP Live!

Episode 27 - BMO's Favourite Song
Friday Apr 18, 2014
Friday Apr 18, 2014
Hi there, ladies and gents; welcome to Episode 27 of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour! Joining Stacey in The Parlour this month is her good friend and fellow nerd; Paul Richardson!
Stacey and Paul get their teeth into a heck of a lot of stuff this episode, including reviews of MULP: Sceptre of the Sun, Indestructable Hulk, Broad City, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and much more!
Of course, they espouse their opinions on Captain America: Winter Soldier, but Stacey's insanely huge love of the Ninja Turtles distracts them from finishing their thoughts on that one! (In case you're interested; Bucky was amazing, Batroc was so tits he needed to be in it tons more and basically the film is TOPS.)
So grab a drink, a slice of cake (or a hot cross bun), and enjoy this month's Pop Culture Parlour!
