Episode 61: Some Sort of Liev Schreiber Tourette's
Wednesday Mar 22, 2017
Wednesday Mar 22, 2017
Alright there folks, welcome back to The Parlour; the monthly podcast on pop culture best served with tea and cake! This month I am joined by Parlour regular and jolly fun bloke, Sam Harrison, as we get down and spoilery on such delights as Logan, Iron Fist, the DC TV shows, Royal City, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Omega Men and loads more!
All this, plus I can't cope with Sam's terrible jokes, Sam takes in stray podcasters, and we both agree that X-Men Apocalypse is not really worth a cinema ticket, even in the Somerset sticks.
Enjoy!

Good morrow one and all, and welcome to Episode 60 of Stacey's Pop Culture Parlour! We take a trip to Digression City this episode as one half of the 2 Grown Men podcast, Nick Papaconstantinou, and I go wildly off topic at every turn.
Discussions include but are not limited to; Moana, my daft phobias, Legion, clothes, Lego Batman, Carter USM, John Wick 2, Hidden Figures and loads more besides! (Some spoilers within, but nothing too drastic!)
All this, plus I lose my mind at the prospect of people finally being able to hear my first attempt at voice acting in Ray Gunn And Starburst S2!

We talk musicals, the Nintendo Switch and how much Cranny hates motion control, How I Met Your Mother and why Basem might be the only person to enjoy the ending, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Train To Busan, and loads more besides.
Stay tuned after the goodbyes for my spoilerific (and possibly too-much-informationy) thoughts on the S3 finale of BoJack Horseman.
Tuck in and enjoy!

Thursday Jan 12, 2017
Thursday Jan 12, 2017

Gooooood day folks! Welcome to Podcast In A Half Shell Episode 15: That Opera Guy Again (aka Is He Watching Me Poo?! aka The Post-Christmas Christmas Episode!) This time Duncan and I are tackling the sheer insanity that is We Wish You A Turtle Christmas. We discuss the dubious accent choices, the odd gifts, the lack of any real plot, our feelings on musicals and, for some reason, being sick... Enjoy!
Huge hugs and smooches to Rob Paulsen who we are both glad to hear is doing better after a bout of illness, and birthday squishes to Duncan, the co-host with the co-mostest!

IT'S CHRIIIIIIISSSSTMAAAAAAS! Well, it's Christmas Eve, but why not still curl up by the fire with a nice glass of *insert your favourite Christmas tipple here* and a slice of *insert your favourite Christmas cakey dessert thing here* and join myself and my ruddy brilliant guests as we count down our favourite comics, movies, TV shows and albums of 2016!
I'm joined for the third Bumper Christmas Stacetacular by my rather lovely husband Rich and our good buddy and not-actually-cockney tit Phil! I'd give you a taste of what's included on our lists, but I don't want to spoil the tension for you.
Enjoy!

Episode 57: Doctor Strange: Mega Good Surgeon Guy
Thursday Nov 24, 2016
Thursday Nov 24, 2016
Alright folks! It's another solo Stacebob episode for you (you can entirely blame Skype for this. The tit!) Tune in as I talk to myself about Doctor Strange and how he's kind of a bellend, how utterly perfect the Hark! A Vagrant comic collections are, why Arrival didn't really work for me but also sort of did, and how I think Charlie Brooker feels about other human people based on the latest series of Black Mirror. There are pretty huge spoilers for all of the above contained within, so consider yourself warned, innit.
Enjoy!

Podcast In A Half Shell - Episode 14: 1 x Bo Staff
Thursday Nov 10, 2016
Thursday Nov 10, 2016

Welcome y'all to another jolly spiffingtastic episode of Podcast In A Half Shell! This episode, Duncan and I are sharing our thoughts on the first 5 episodes of the 2003 4Kids TMNT cartoon. As it turns out, I'm not a massive fan of it... Still, there's fun to be had as we wonder about such things as a naked Splinter, why mousers are not a good idea for catching rats or breaking into banks, whether having your midriff out in a laboratory setting is appropriate and lots more.
All this, plus an unboxing! That's right a non-visual unboxing!...
Cowabunga!
